The EURODIS road map

The EURODIS network is based on a solid business model with a long-term strategic approach. Managed and administered by EURODIS GmbH, the network brings together leading national transport companies in Europe. By joining forces, they are able to deliver a binding performance promise across Europe, while responding to local market requirements.

Built-in quality mechanisms

EURODIS GmbH, as the central system provider, manages the partners' interface. It defines network standards with regard to processes, data exchange and products. It measures, monitors and develops quality standards, aided by a built-in KPI ranking system.

The network is inherently structured to ensure continuous performance improvement.

Shared commitment

Key to this is a unique system of shared ownership which strengthens the network's success. Each partner becomes shareholder in EURODIS GmbH on joining as cooperation partner. This is based on a consistent allocation scheme which takes into account the economic capability of each partner's territory.

Network partners are committed to feeding the EURODIS network exclusively, boosting the system, encouraging growth and shortening transit times.

In this way, recognising each partner's national competence, the EURODIS network operates in a spirit of cooperation that is evident at every level of the logistics supply chain.

  • The national competence of all network partners that is recognised by the customers is organised in a solid European partnership. On the one hand the requirements of the local markets are taken into account whilst on the other hand a uniform Europe-wide performance promise can be bindingly kept. "These are the key success factors for EURODIS and its shareholders," says Carl-Gerold Mende, Head for parcels and logistics at Österreichische Post AG and Chairman of the EURODIS-supervisory board.
  • "In times of globalisation no logistics company will be able to fulfil the customers' requirements without being connected to a powerful international network," confirms Guy Buswell, CEO of UK Mail and Deputy Chairman of the EURODIS-supervisory board.
